The problem

Agents don’t have an honesty problem.
They have a proof problem.

Your agents write code, move money, and touch production. When something goes wrong, the record is a shrug — the model decided — with no trace of what was checked and no way to reproduce it.

I · The Gate

It refuses before it acts.

Every turn passes a deterministic gate first. When it can’t prove the ground beneath a claim, it stops — no confident guess shipped as fact.

II · The Receipt

Every turn leaves a seal.

Each verified turn is sealed with a cryptographic audit hash — tamper-evident, portable, independently checkable. Not a log you must trust. A receipt anyone can verify.

III · The Proof

Run it twice. Same hash.

The verification is deterministic: identical input yields an identical receipt, byte for byte. “Trust me” becomes “check it yourself” — the only trust that survives a skeptic.
